Are you alive or just living?

I'm alive so that I can die I cam only live to die for to die is to live though you have to live long enough to die before you die

Our time here as individuals are short in comparison to the existence of everything else around us we're as small and temporary as the smallest fraction of the breaths we take to pump the oxygen through our systems we're all so insignificant and at the same time that same idea brings me peace of mind. To know, or at least think - since people have many varying beliefs (with all due respect, of course) our lives have such minimal impact limited to our little world on earth. We live in our own worlds, holding different values, believing different things, taking actions and perhaps none at all ~ and in the end what is it all for? In my life's time, I'd like to give purpose to each spec of breath I take. I'd like to make change, to pay attention to the smallest detail just so that in the grand scheme of things it will look greater for a moment that I've created for people to experience themselves. The moments tick away with each second and these words are only as meaningless as you give them value to be. I live to create meaning in things.

Answer: "As soon as you're born you start dying, so you might as well have a good time." You're always living, but only alive when you're doing something you want. If you're seriously asking... "You gotta get up. You gotta find your heart. You gotta find your soul. You gotta find those strengths inside of yourself that make you take on the day... that make you take on the world... that make you appreciate what goes on around you... that make you be ALIVE!"
