Hey there! Nice to me you all!

When I was younger I had a passion for Anime/Manga. Drawing, Reading, Watching it. However my time passed on and I followed the Highschool crowd. Dropping my Manga for Weights, watching playback reels for football and worst of all putting down the pencil for tools to work on cars. Last year however I was walking down the hallway as I had just returned from work and I heard something all too familiar-It was Full Metal Alchemist. I had forgotten about the show until I heard Edward yelling at Al. I walked into the room and my little sister was watching it on TV-I asked her when she had begun to watch Anime? and she showed me her sketch book and Manga collection-She asked me if i still remembered how to draw-I replied by asking how did she know I knew how to draw? She pulled out my old sketchbook which she had found-After flipping through it. I decided to draw something-But i couldn't, it had been too long-So I jumped online and looked up a show-Soul Eater and smiled as it slowly came back to me. Since than I have returned to a life as a Anime Lover-I don't care what anyone says I'm happy watching and reading it and drawing as well. Since then me and my sister are getting along better too and I have even taken her to a couple Con's (She does Cosplay.) Hoping to make new friends in the Anime comunity! I feel better being the old me-Without Anime I feel like I became an Ass.

Ah, well no matter what you end up doing in life - I think so long as you're enjoying yourself and you're happy I think it's fine, even if you stray away from things you once liked. ^^ The pursuit of happiness is a long, but fulfilling one. Really interesting and I think very neat way of getting back into it all, ahah. Kind of cute, eh Cons are super awesome for so many more reasons than I can even think of right now, but they're filled with a ton of fun and it's always great to be around people that share the same love for something you also like :D. Well, no matter - Welcome to MaiOtaku! Everyone is a super friendly bunch here, so don't be afraid to say 'hi' to anyone at all. ^^ Do try and stay active around here and get to know people. Thanks! :D Gurran Lagann was another Fav too Fooly Cooly, Gundam (Alot of the Series like G, 00, Seed.) Chobits, Fruits basket, Witchblade, Naruto, Sekirei, Avatar (Old and New.) And so Much more to name Lol. And yeah! I live in Detroit and they have Youmacon here I've gone A couple times when I was younger than Once with my sister and we been to a couple others.

Gurran Lagann was spectacular. Needless to say, shit hit the fan really fast in it - and then a LOT of feels ensued ahah. I liked it a lot, even though it got amazingly ridiculous near the end. I only was able to stick with gundam seed and 00 tbh, but it was great >_<;; I like your taste in Animes. Listed some great ones!! Ah, nice man. I've heard of it ^^ The only con's I've ever went to would be Anime North up in Toronto, Ontario, Canada - and even that's like a 6 hour drive away, lol
