There's usually a few other meetups too. The biggest one I usually see is the DmV meetup, last year in the bar right across the fountain entrance from the convention center. It took up the whole second floor, but everyone does have their own agenda

I'm going as elk from .hack//sign, there was a meet up there, But it was only maybe 20 people.
