Any advice on how to find someone who also loves anime?

well im 19, and i dont have problems meeting girls the problem is finding some one who shares my interests. I just wanna be with somone who i can have a conversation with, and i just dont know were to look i guess(guessing there at home watching anime an jamming to volaloids like myself)

Otaku girls are practically in hiding, they won't just tell people in real life they like anime(at least most of them since a lot of people find it weird if you do like anime). So basically, you can go to an anime convention, meet people on this site, or maybe go to Chatango.com. There're TONS of anime lovers on Chatango.com, but who knows what they actually look like or even if they're a girl. Also, I'd recommend the anime dating MMORPG, Lucent Heart. There're anime fans on there as well, and the game in general is pretty fun too. However the game doesn't come out until the end of this year or sooner.(I myself am going to be playing it). Not trying to advertise anything, just telling you the best ways to go to find people who like anime.

yeah i understand the hiding it thing(my whole family thinks ill of me for watching it, people here thing anime is like evil or something i hate it, they dont understand how amazing it is:/ ) and thanks for the info ill check it out^-^ and ive wanted to goto a con for awhuile just havnt had the chance sadly:/

If you live anywhere near a college id suggest looking into seeing if they have maybe an anime club? My local college does, although I don't go for personal reasons it would probably be a good place to start looking.

Anime conventions, anime clubs in your area/college, social gatherings for gamers, nerds etc. My biggest problem isn't so much finding girls who like anime. My biggest problem is finding single ones. Most I run into are already in relationships or are way to young for me to consider since I'm 33. :P

It's true tho that most girls who like anime they don't show it or say it until someone else brings it up I'm like that sadly because we'll in my case in high school they consider them freaks. I think going to a book store in the manga section or somthing
