I'm betting that Luffy's father had picked up Sabo after the attack and nursed him back to health, then raised him and taught him how to fight. I bet Sabo was apart of the Rebels fighting alongside Luffy's father the entire time and that was why he couldn't be there for Ace. He simply could reach Ace in time! Ever since I watched those episodes with Sabo, I just KNEW he couldn't be dead! I just knew that someone had to of saved him! LOL! I'm always so full of speculation! XD Don't mind me~ :P

Well not completely... Steampunk wiki says One Piece is an anime with Steampunk elements. *winks* But yeah... :P lol I got some goggles recently. I think I will get myself a top hat like Sabo and rock them! Hopefully in time for Gaslight. :D I am pretty stoked about having some goggles to rock. Also, do you make your own stuff or do you buy? I do a little of both, but my dude friend makes everything. He like raids places at the swap meet selling gears etc.

I do a little of both. I buy a few small things that I can't make easily and I alter some things to make the rest. I sometimes make my items completely from scratch, but I'm a recycle girl. I love to refurbish old items into something new and improved~ ;) My current project is to take a $10 angora newsboy cap and add spots to it to make Law's hat and to take my old trench which my mom's dogs chewed up and repair it, change it up a bit, and turn it into Law's coat. ;) Of course, I'll add my own little artist's spin on both of them. I love adding a little bit of flavor to my cosplay. ^_^ I'll be getting my art supplies tomorrow and bringing them home on Wednesday after visiting my friend, so I hope to get back to making my Steampunk hats very soon~ I've sold all but one of the hats I've made so far! :D

Yay! That is cool. I kind of do that too. Mine, I scour the interwebs for stuff I can use and then alter it to make awesome stuff. But, with my curvy shape sometimes I gotta be careful not to make my skirts too full etc. Refurbish and DIY are awesome, and in my opinion the least wasteful, and more time effective way to do cosplay. It might not look EXACTLY like the anime, but it's not really important. For Law's coat, with the parts that are chewed, if you can maybe do the yellow parts over it. That might help a bit. That's cool that you do your own take on it. Are you going to rock it as Lawko or do actual Law? A girl surprised me. I was like, "Wow, that is one awesome dude if he can rock Law that way." then I told them, "OMG AWESOME LAW!" and they were like, "Thanks." I thought "OMG A GIRL!!" but didn't say it cause that'd be weird. She had the goatee and everything. lol I think I wanna see all the stuff you do. That sounds really awesome. ^_^

^_^ The chewed part are on the front. It had buckle embellishments on it. I've already figured out a way to alter it to cover up the torn parts and still keep the buckle look, yet make it fit into a Law-like coat. All I need is some black wool fabric and yellow fabric for the markings and it'll be AWESOME! I'm even going to add in pockets~ I hate not having pockets in my jackets or coats.. >_< If you would really like to see some of my work, I could PM you my blog and business pages~ ;)
