Guys that like curvy girls??? >///////<

I do like "curvy" women. Not overweight, however. I see this pattern usually where these so called curvy women like to say that men go for skin n bones girlies but that is not true at all. Everyman I know likes a girl with some meat in the "right" places. Personally, I think it's whatever. I'd like a girl overly curvy than overly thin.

I've been dabbling in the dating scene. I am 5ft 8in 248 size 18. Used to be much larger. I have a medical issue that actually has effected my weight. You'll be surprised, there are actually a lot of guys out there that don't care about your size. So far I've gone on a date with two different Asian surfer dudes that are really attractive and buff, I am talking with a few others. I am planning on seeing one of the guys I went on a date with again cause I really like him. Don't obsess on the fact that you're a big girl, and go for the guy you'd like to be with. Wear a great outfit that will stun him, do your nails and hair, put on a little makeup. Show your best assets both physically and otherwise. If you let your personality shine it's not going to matter what size you are! Plus a lot of guys like girls with curves. I really wish I could help my plus-sized sisters on here out with some nice date clothes and maybe do nails and hair etc. I love fashion and helping people so it'd be nice for me. Especially since I've lost weight, I have a lot of cute clothes that I just can't fit anymore T_T. I'm tired of hearing how guys don't like BBW. Obviously they haven't had any experience in the real world. Sure there are people that don't like BBW because of whatever reason, and as a BBW myself I have to say they may have misconceptions of what we are like and probably not even worth our time or getting upset over. But, there are a lot of attractive, active guys out there that aren't looking for a petite little thin woman and appreciate curves. They might even be a good motivator for you to go out and get active with them so don't give up!

+1 SD - The woman I linked about earlier has the right idea IMHO. Be healthful to what makes sense for your situation but you have to love yourself first. You can be rail thin, flawless skin and the supermodel bone structure, and hate yourself just as much too or more. When you are comfortable, not ashamed of your body, it comes out in your personality. Self-esteem is an attractive quality that also is a foundation stone of confidence.

@SD & DS I must agree. Self-esteem and how you carry yourself matters so much more than the body you have. Even putting on clothes and styling your hair or makeup can show personality and that matters so much more than anything else, I believe.

im tired of hearing how women want a certain looking kind of guy too... meh.... I see and hear Reubenesque women complain about poor them all the time, but i always wonder about double standards. Also, ive only ever been with plus sized women( im with one now and despite her thoughts, i love her entire body), so im not being a hypocrite by asking or stating. Just don't try to glorify anything thing that's unhealthy. Physical health is pretty damn important, just as is mental health. Also, there are tons of guys that will go for the "curvy" type and that's why i brought up double standards...Just a thought.

I get you on the double standard, why expect something from someone you wouldn't be able to do for someone else? I don't have a certain type I just attract certain types. Usually the type that go, "you like anime and speak Japanese? You must be into Asian guys!" Lol For a while i liked a pasty, kind of squishy white dude cause i thought he was cute and smart. He treated me like nothing despite my efforts and then I started to dislike him. ): it took me a long time though cause i really liked him and tried possibly too hard to win him over. Not sure why, but I like the type i am attracting now anyway! I'm going to be honest. I'm fucking picky and I will find any reason to turn a guy down if I find spmething about him that is unattractive, usually it's not anything to do with appearance for me, but more attitude. Like, every geeky girl I know that studies an Asian language goes after Korean guy it seems. I just couldn't get into this one guy cause he was just kind of mean to people and critical of people in customer service etc.
