Anyone from California?

elaborateflaws
We have some idiots on the road, but I haven't had any bad experiences yet. I would compare it to Florida (where I used to live) to see if it's worse, but I hardly remember. ^^;

Well, just never go to Texas. Even people with official licenses (drive buses and fire engines and stuff) almost head-on you or side-swipe ya. And they say you can't drive in California!? PAH!

I'll be sure to never go there, I wouldn't want that to happen to me. That stuff definitely doesn't happen in California.

Yeah, and I think I know why the drivers in Texas are so bad too. In California, we are held to a higher and harsher code to get your driver's license. In Texas, though I only took the written test (and they ignored my epilepsy even though I told them about it) is a very laid back test, while in California it's much more.....different. I remember it took me three tries to pass the California written, and in Texas, I got 80% right off!

Oh, I see. Darn, that means it'll take me a while for me to pass when I can drive.

I dunno, I mean some people pass right off. For me, it's just so intense a test because the questions are all close together......and it's on a long sheet with small letters. It's just annoying. In Texas, it was more like a scantron with a packet of questions rather than a paper with both questions and answer column. Just study and you should be fine.

I'm from the Bay Area myself, only a 30 minute drive outside of San Fran. Seems like the general crowd for the site however is under the age of 20 (18 and under even), which is slightly disappointing, as I was hoping to meet some more people around my own age.
