Remember RPG's that were actually fun and good?

FF 13 had amazing graphics and amazing story. The music was awesome as well. The characters, on the other hand, were bland. I especially hated the black guy with a chicken in his head. Hope being the most hopeless of them all, Snow being so warm hearted, you get it... And the gameplay, which is the #1 reason to play any game, SUCKED. Period, the end.

It's like its trendy to hate hope. He wasn't that bad, put yourself in his shoes. And at least he redeemed himself. Hands down he's the best character in 13-2 .and to be honest argue all you want but 13-2 was a fixed game. Gameplay was so fluid. Because everyone wants to have some morbid obsession to give lightning and crew trashabout the first game. It gets overlooked and lobbed in. And three looks so much better.

(I have yet to play 13-2) I actually loved Sazh, I actually think he's the only character I liked from XIII. I actually loved the story and the visuals, my jaw was dropping through the entire game xD Hyperdimension Neptunia is one of the few games I like from Idea Factory/Compile Heart, just because the game references and console-tans. The first one SUCKED, but it made me laugh so much. The second one actually has good gameplay. I haven't played Victory

I was thinking about getting it (anime art covers always entice me).. I was contemplating about it but.. ended up getting Valkyria Chronicles... instead o3o..

Lunar: The Silver Star Phantasy Star 1-4 Chrono Trigger Chrono Cross Earthbound 0-2 (Mother 1-3 in Japan) Dragon Quest (all) Final Fantasy (all) Grandia 1-2 All are good RPGs. I'm not picky when it comes to a generic one but outstanding ones, well stand out.

oh how i miss Breath Of Fire (3 and 4 were my most favorite, but then they made 5 and it was just a disgrace from the past BOF), I have only played 1 star ocean (with fayte and stuff, it was kinda interesting the way everything was setup, albel nox was my favorite). but yea there are other recent games that are still good too....no wait i cant say that since im still stuck on the ps2, so i have no idea what all the other more recent games n systems r like XD
