Yeah I totally forgot about the cyberpunk, neo-tokyo era and the magical girl era XD. Well around 2000-2005 was also the era of shonen, such as naruto, DBZ, bleach, etc. One show i'm currently watching is captain harlock, even though it's old, it is very good.

Even though I was born in 96, I watch tons of anime back before I was born, and that anime is still better then most of the stuff today (except a bit of them). Yeah the anime changes with generation I guess, this time line is just moe. 1975 - 1985 i'm sure is the mecha era.

Ah, i love steins;gate, it has good character development, the story is really good, the animation was great, and it can show how terrifying a time machine can be.
