@animadsci86 i'm a blacksmith, metalurgist and run casting founderys every day, if i post somthing on the inernet thats projects a lack of knowlege on my part, i'd be more bothered if someone didnt correct me.also i am a know it all when it comes to metal. their are as many alloys as their are stars in the sky so its super vauge also my blacksmith eye tells me those sword are stainless steel, which means even with the presence of carbon in the steel it wont do much for the blade (carbon makes carbon steel harder whereas the attendance of nickle and chromium in stainless gives it its resilience.) making the statement that a piece as steel is carbon steel is about as discriptive as answering someone that asks where you are, withjust the name of the state your in vs telling a city county place or street. if you really wanna debate metal i got all the time in the world.

Carbon steel could be referring to a high, medium, or low carbon, but calling it carbon steel is different then what is referred to as alloy steel, or stainless steel. As a lot of "fake" swords are stainless steel, her carbon (high, med, or low) steel sword isnt a totally vague statement. Don't be a know it all. Lol '0_o
