Yea, The wooden sandals are a bit uncomfortable so wearing them on a shorter day would help. I went to Osaka and Kyoto for a week each. It was very beautiful there and the people were very nice. However i went alone and do not know Japanese so had issues with language barrier. I have pictures of my trip in my photo album. And thank you if i enjoy this animecon i may go to more in the future.

Dressing up as fictional characters you've made up counts as original cosplay actually. That's how I got started in doing more theatrical outfits for cons. I hope you enjoy your first con! Another option is you wear the Yukata for either Thursday reg or Sunday since they are the shorter days. What part of Japan did you go to btw? :) Agreed!

I never actually Cosplayed before. I have dressed up in costumes, But i never really copied an anime character. I usually have dressed up as fictional characters i made up. I'm planning on going to saikoucon this August. It will be my first Animecon =D. And i may dress up, However ill probably just wear the Yukata i got while in Japan last April. So far from what i have seen of persona 5 it looks really good. Lets hope the story is as good as the visual art.
