You'll probably get some other people talking to you at some point. I wish I could give some advice but I can't really think of any. I just know that when I'm the new kid sometimes and I even try to avoid talking to people due to shyness that I can't seem to avoid it for too terribly long. A couple people always find their way over to talk to me.
