Well your right on the origin ova, but the first anime from 98 is what I meant...
there was a pokemon that ash was supposed to get instead of pikachu because it was considered cute and would appeal to female audience. Stumped? X3

Pika bro ive got an idea for a nuzloke! Have a pokemon and an egg in your party. When the egg hatches, release your first pokemon and keep the newborn while collecting another egg. Battle with that pokemon until the next egg hatches and release that pokemon and get another egg. Repeat and see how far you get!
