Fruits Basket is pretty good. But I MUCH prefer the manga to the anime. Go for it! Although cosplays are expensive and time consuming to put together.

It's a lot of fun, I do it by myself sometimes. My favorite genre is romantic comedies, but my favorite idea is virtual reality games.
