As far as character development I usually tried to steal characters my younger siblings create when drawing or short lived spurts of genius they have and develop them that way the character has different starting point. I hate when all my protagonist are the same type of character so this way I can develop I wider range of characters and deal with a wider spectrum of emotions. If not I used the people I've met or know and change the names to protect the not so innocent.

Well I write in every genre just about. Right now I'm working on the classic fables characters such as santa and the boy who cried wolf, those type of characters and evolving the characters by creating a new story and motivations for the stories. I got a little discourage I was sitting on the ideal for a couple years, and then Once Upon Time, Grimm and other various shows came up, but then I decided I still wanted to write my story.

origins on the fairytale characters right now. I'm breaking down each subplot into a different stand alone chapter then blending the characters into each story where they fit in.

well that makes a certain kind of sense. I will check it out when I have some free time. I'm researching right not for my next story though I need a good title for it as well, but I'm sure it will come to me.
