They're very fun! If you've been to Japan Fest, then you have Dragon Con and AWA right in your backyard, which are two of the biggest southeast conventions. I've been considering going to AWA this year - if you can plan it in time, GO! I'm sure you'd have a blast.

It's nice to meet you! Well hey, I love Utada (which means I'm a huge Kingdom Hearts fan - go figure). I guess the first thing to come to mind when I think j-pop is stuff like Perfume, lol. I can't say I'm a huge Korean media fan personally, but hey, to each their own. Do you go to any anime cons?

"Nobuta wo Produce" is what got me into JDramas in the first place, so I have to recommend that one. Hanazakari no Kimitachi e (Hana Kimi) was really cute and funny. Also, 1 Litre of Tears was really emotionally moving. I DIDN'T CRY OKAY? MY EYES WERE JUST SWEATING.

I think they're pretty awesome - they're one of the first Japanese bands I got into. I definitely recommend checking them out if you have the time. I honestly don't listen to very many J-pop bands, but what are your favorites? I wouldn't mind listening to a few. Oh, and I'm Alex, btw!
