I am a personal attendant for mentally and physically disabled adults. I intend to further my education in nursing and caregiving as a profession, but not my career. I'm still figuring out exactly what I want to do and what is available to me. I want to own my own home, transportation, and have a good paying job and business. To be self sufficient and independent is one of my goals. I'll rely on others when I need or when the help is offered, but I really want to be in a position where I can take care of myself, my loved ones, and those in need of a helping hand. Money, fame, and power are secondary motivators to relationships and love, the latter of which does far more for me.
When I'm not at work I'm typically at home. I love to chat and roleplay with friends over Skype, watch anime, read manga or fanfiction, browse the web, listen to music, meditate and/or daydream, and educate myself on various subjects. Not being in possession of a console or a gaming laptop I'm quite out of the video game loop, but enjoy playing what video games my computer can handle. Occasionally I'll get lost in the world of Youtube or Tumblr. I usually go outside to catch some sun and get some fresh air, run errands, go bike riding or mile running, hit the gym, and to do grocery shopping. Sometimes my co-worker drags me off for a trip out of town where we go to a club or visit the casino. I don't like beer or liquor, but I do fancy a sweet bottle of wine every now and again.
I'm an introvert by default, but I've obtained some extrovert tendencies along the way. Then, depending on how comfortable I am with someone will determine how outgoing and open I am. I'm a health enthusiast and I love it! Making sure that I'm eating healthy and exercising is really big for me. When I'm older I want to be well enough to be able to do all the things that aren't currently feasible for me to do, like traveling. And while I'm young I want to be able to enjoy life without worrying about health conditions and annoyances, like menstrual cramps and pimples. I don't have a car and before I get one I'll have a mobile home and/or a moped. I used to be really into drawing digital anime art, but haven't been motivated to do so for a while.
I'm pretty terrible with remembering birthdays and special occasions, even for my loved ones. I make a point to let them know that I do love them, however. At times I become very distant. I won't feel like hanging out with friends or being social, so I withdraw into my own space. Sometimes it lasts for a few hours, sometimes longer. I let my friends know when it continues for any significant amount of time. It's nothing personal.
【 What Is Talking 】 It's a lot easier for me to express myself in writing than it is speaking aloud. Usually, I get tongue tied and trip over my words. Sometimes I have to pause just so I can get my mind-mouth coordination in order. It's embarrassing and frustrating, but since most of my social time is spent typing instead of talking I've just accepted it.
【 Text Smilies 】 I love using text smilies when I talk and detest picture smilies. lol I've made an effort not to use them in this profile, but if we're talking you're going to see a lot of them. If you don't understand what one of my smilies mean or if you're unsure of its meaning just let me know!
【 May Be Distracted 】 Sometimes, sometimes a lot of the time, I get easily distracted. It's not that I'm not interested in you or our conversation or whatever it's just that something else has grabbed my attention.
【 Look Away! 】 It's disrespectful to look someone in the eye. I distinctly remember picking that up from an Asian film I watched as a child and put the theory to practice. Of course, I knew better then and better now, but it's still hard for me to look at people in the eye sometimes.
【 Hair 】 I have a lot of different hairstyles. My most common ones are to put my hair in braids (see profile image), get a wig, or wear a weave. At times I go natural and do my hair up in an afro or get it french braided. I also love mohawks and faux hawks. I had one once but was far too shy back then to show it in public.
【 Raw Foodist 】 I still like cooked meals and meat, but I definitely don't eat them as frequently as I used to. This foodstyle also works for me since I'm not the best cook. / cough / At least I have some things that I can make and more with proper time and practice. Anyways! I like eating food as raw as I can get it. So that means that I tend to eat a lot of salads, fruits, and vegetables. I also love yogurt, nuts, beans, lentils, and grain foods. Juice and water are my choice of drinks. If it's not organic or non-gmo then I do my best to steer clear of it. The more health conscious labels and honest reputation of the seller the more likely I am to eat a product.
After you've taken a while to get to know me, and you're still interested romantically, let me know. I prefer interested parties be my age or a few years older, but exceptions might be made for top caliber men.

【 Unhealthy 】 I'm not attracted to heavy set people. If you're making an effort to get in shape that's great! But it doesn't change anything. I know our bodies are not going to be attractive forever, but I do want someone with an attractive body who can also keep up with me in my fitness endeavors. However, I find men who are skinny or in shape to be just as repulsive if they have bad eating habits or eat too much meat.
【 Foul Character 】 Who my partner is as a person matters a lot for me because I'm not in it to change them or be changed by them, but for us to join in harmony. This will be impossible if you've got a terrible personality and/or lack of maturity. You're going to have to get to an acceptable level first before I consider you romantically -- or even as a friend. Nothing turns me off faster than a foul character.
