I prefer something with suspense/horror/gore, action that isn't too flashy, some romance, some comedy (certain ones like Lucky Star), magical girl stuff, currently idol and band type anime as well.

I like some anime because it’s pretty much moving art to me, it’s aesthetically pleasing to me in other words. XD
