Did you ever finish the anime? I know you also have to watch it in a certain order for it to make sense. It's definitely an anime that you have to watch more than a few episodes to get drawn into it. The plot is also very deep. The movie is amazing!:D I'm still waiting for season 3 though. And yeah I haven't finished Clannad either. I don't know if I will ever continue it
