Hmm they're aren't very much alike but they both have some pretty interesting gunfight scenes and are sci-fi in nature. I'd recommend checking them both out. I liked Cowboy Bebop from the start but it took me a few episodes to warm up to Trigun.

in summer the hottest i experienced was nearly 40C°. but its mostly around 25-35. ^^
guess you would have to wear a pullover in germany considering youre used to way more heat.
