That's actually a con that I attend if I have time off. I try to catch on there or in Vegas every year. New York has a pretty massive one that I missed this year because I had to go to a wedding. There's nothing wrong with parents like that, my mom was the same way at first but she lightened up and gave us more freedoms as we earned them. So I wouldn't worry about it too much!

I don't know what part of CA you're located at but I usually head that way once or twice a year. Just depends on the days the cons are. And Im sure your mom would appreciate me kidnapping you :p

well im moving to dallas texas in march to go to a private college called the art institute, where I'm going to learn to be a jack of all trade in media, also im going to open an anime store while im down there, I plan to open a few stores nationwide, after I graduate im going to start a media production company to help american artist get into media a bit easier. Not to mention im going to publish works of my own ^_^
