I guess they'll transfer a lot of the stuff of Battle of the Gods to the series. I haven't seen Dragon Ball Z Battle of the Gods though so I can't talk with much authority on that.

Dragon Ball Super is the new series that began airing in Japan on 5th July this year. The western release is yet to be announced. It takes place after the Majin Buu Saga and is a sequel to Dragon Ball Z. http://youtu.be/g6yqDLgx7d0

Hahaha, my pleasure. Thankfully there is a lot of anime to watch while we wait for the release date of Digimon Tri to roll by.

Hahaha, I'm waiting in anticipation too. The first film is titled "Reunion" so I guess it will focus on how they come together again. Also how they get used to being back in the DigiWorld. The threat will probably be described in the following installments. That's what I can gather.

Yeah, it'll probably be a story with the first group as the protagonists. I'm totally cool with that though. It will be interesting to see how the characters have changed after all these years actually.

There are rumours that Davis may make an appearance in Digimon Tri. It would be cool to see some of the crew from season 2 again. They would probably focus on the cast of the first series because it's the 15 year anniversary and all that. Quite a while to wait for it though.

Oh, yeah the animation style is different too. Like you said though-it's just awesome to get more Digimon. It's cool that they also aged a little from when we last saw them. They aged slower than the fans though seeing as the series had it's debut 15 years ago ;)

They look different because this adventure is set six years after the events of Digimon Adventure. So they are all seventeen year-old high school students now. The November release is for Japan but I think the American release wouldn't be too far behind. They would want to capitalize on the 15 year anniversary hype.
