Thanks! I'll be sure to let you know as soon as it gets off the ground. The more people that go to my site, the more monies I'd make from ad revenue! >:) (I don't really expect that, lol!) Though, it would be nice if it took off and I could only do that for a living! ^-^

PS. Sorry for any walls of text. I have a nasty habit of inserting too much when I convey something, haha.

MDG stands for Mason Dixon Gambit. None of my project names are permanent as of yet, so that's why they're like that. Right now, I've shortened to be Mason Dixon.

Ehem. *epic movie trailer guy voice*

Pittsburgh. The year is 2093. Nine years ago something mutated life on Earth. Most people perished outright after the event not being able to withstand the mutation. Others weren't so lucky. A handful of survivors scavenge the city daily in the hopes of finding useful supplies while fighting off mutated people, animals and military robots that think everything is hostile.

One day, a fateful encounter leads to the discovery of a way to curb the robot threat and use them to fight the mutants. The survivors must leave their makeshift home in the city and venture to a shipwrecked carrier on the east coast. Do the survivors have what it takes to travel the Mason-Dixon Line and bring peace back to chaos ridden world? Find out in Mason Dixon!

Coming...

...hopefully?

Haha, and thanks! Do I ever know a lot about fixing and redoing things. Marala's been redesigned so many times over the years I've lost count! (though she is one of my earliest characters) Even in what I posted you can see her most recent change. The last image of her shows her older outfit in the middle and the update on the right. If you ever want critiques or help with anything art related, feel free to ask. I like to pass on what I know! If you're not comfortable posting it here, you can always email me. I think you can see my email on my info page.

As a side note, my comic is based on the "Project MDG" sketches, which started life as a game idea. (still have plans for that, but it's really time consuming) The robots look a lot different now, though. Redesigns, ho!

D'oh. It seems that HTML doesn't work everywhere on this site... Anywho...

Lol at the cat from Azumanga Daioh! I like the Tsukimi's wedding dress picture! It's really cute! I've never seen Kuragehime, though. (or knew of it's existence...) I don't have a lot of experience with color so I tend to stick to monochrome. I actually like flat color styles, (like early animation without shading or cel-shading) so I'm going to play with that in my comic.

Oh, and don't get discouraged. I think all us artists tend to our own worst critics. XD

I dabble in a lot of things. I primarily like to do concept art with a focus on characters. I go through phases on the kinds of things I'm into doing. Right now I'm into comic illustrating. I have an idea I'd like to self-publish on the web, but I'm kinda slow, haha! If you don't have a Wacom tablet, I highly recommend it! I got my Bamboo Fun for about $80 on Amazon, so they're not terribly expensive. I use it pretty much exclusively now.<br><br>

I have a small sample of some of my sketches <a href"http://digitalartistmike.wordpress.com/sketchbook/">here.</a> I've kinda abandoned that website for the time being. I plan on launching a new one with my comic. That will become the new home of my blog. (I'm trying to learn some programming, too. So I'll write the entire site from scratch)<br><br>

3D stuff is really fun, by the way! I was taught in Autodesk 3Ds Max but it's $3,675 I can't use it now! >.< Thankfully, there's a free and legal alternative. <a href"http://www.blender.org/">Blender</a> is pretty much the go-to alternative for 3Ds Max or Maya. Horay for open source!<br><br>

How about you? Do you have any art posted somewhere? I'd like to see your work!

Since I'm a bit of an artist myself, I was curious about what kind of animation you're trying to get into. Are you looking to do traditional hand animation? 3D? Maybe the flash based or advertisement/marketing type?
