well you def need to attend one first. con experience as an attendee is a must before you work for one. cons are lots of fun, lots of things to do, panels to see, awesome cosplays, friends to be made, concerts, dances, stuff to buy, etc. my recommendation is start with small to medium size cons so that you're not overwhelmed by the atmosphere and enormity of the bigger cons

Yes, I tend to know what I want and to work hard to make it happen. Art wise, I have recently discovered my own unique style which could be described as a cross between cartoon and chibi. Lolz. I honestly prefer realistic anime styles, but I have all the time in the world to develop just such a style. Hehe. What do I usually draw? Hmm..such a hard question that is! I suppose I should say that I work on Original Characters quite a bit and shape out comics I hope to produce in the future. xD

Yea ^^ it does sound pretty awesome but its also a lot of hard work and sleepless nights. but in the end its fun cause of friends/coworkers and seeing attendees happy with the time they had at the con ^^ you should try it ^^
