I am huge fan of Anime and Manga and I consider myself an old school fan. I wouldn't be here if I wasn't. I also enjoy going to conventions and cosplaying. Although I really haven't had time do create anything new as of yet. I have few characters I'd really like to cosplay at some point. One of those characters being Makoto from Free. (I feel he and I are similar in personality. Ha ha!^^;
I love to exercise, and keeping fit for not only my own health (and my job) but for cosplay as well. I would also like someone who can come and exercise with me, as well have some fun with other recreational activities. I'm always open to trying something new! Crossfit, Swimming, Climbing, Rugby and Football are just a few of the things that I enjoy doing. When I'm not doing any that you can usually find me relaxing watching anime, reading manga or reading a book.
Well, believe it or not I am actually currently deployed in Afghanistan! I'm in the U.S. Army assigned to the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault!) working in the Intelligence field. I enjoy my job and I am considering on making it a career both in and outside the armed services. I would like someone who is willing to accept the Army way of life with me, with all it's ups and downs. I will be heading back to the states and looking for a long term relationship after my last one failed... I'll be returning in three months...give or take. I hope I can meet someone by then.
Before I joined the Army I was born and raised in New Jersey, and went to College in Philadelphia where I received my Bachelors of Science degree. I've worked professionally for about 4 years as Illustrator, Graphic designer, and Animator for various studios in the New York, New Jersey,and Pennsylvania Tri-state area. I still illustrate for extra cash as a freelancer while still serving active duty in the US Army.
I joined because I felt the need to serve and have a more physical challenge to my life, and the Army did just that. I'm hoping I can find someone who can accept me and the military way of life.
