Hey! My name is Jon and I'd consider myself a pretty well rounded nerd/otaku/whatever you wanna call it.
I didn't cosplay until I was in college, AMA 2006 as Kurosaki Ichigo, and then did a couple others after that but college took priority and I stopped after just a year or so. I graduated from Virginia Tech in 2010 and then got a full time engineering job, eventually my college friends talked about enjoying themselves at a Comic con and so I just had to get back into it.
I cosplayed Ryu Hayabusa in his legendary black falcon suit at Otakon 2015. It was a rushed 5 week cosplay so I'm okay with how it turned out but I'll be tweaking it along the way.
Outside of cosplaying, I'm just a normal guy who enjoys being around friends, playing sports, getting outdoors or just hanging out inside with a nice video game. I actually just joined team beachbody and am about to start a 15 week program with a local trainer, and then I also do muay thai and brazilian jiu-jitsu twice a week.
I'm on here because I'm single, and I figure that anyone I meet on here will at least share a similar hobby as myself or at least be tolerant to me dressing up like a ninja a few times a year ;)
