oh man that really sucks when you find a friend in a different place and they leave, been there and it sucks.Great choice of animes, though I only know Naruto and heard good things about the other ones.
for me it would be: Dragonball/Dbz (Childhood memories), Yu yu hakasho, Gurren lagaan, FMA Brotherhood, Death Note, Legend of the legendary heroes about it for now I'll think of the other ones XD

Totally agreed about Moribito. By far one of my favorite anime of all. I like everything about it. It looks amazing as far as the artwork and animation. I have watched through twice and plan buying it on bluray soon. I really like Balsa's character even though she isn't the really young school girl type that seems to be naked half the time. The maturity about the whole anime is kind of refreshing. Its a great one for sure. Do you go to school or anything?

Definitely busy. Always meeting new people is so much fun you never know who will become your best friends, speaking from experiences my best friend was someone that I was unlikely to connect with but I would take a bullet for the guy now figuratively speaking.
If you don't mind my asking are you just starting college or did you transfer?

Tenchi Muyo is actually an older series from the mid-late 90s, one of the originals when it came to harem anime. Given the time frame there really wasn't too much fan service and it was more about the story line than just mindless jiggly parts and awkward moments; the fact that all the girls just happened to like the protagonist was secondary. Probably why it's so great.
Chrono Crusade is a brilliant anime, decent action drama series with an ending that actually made me tear up.
Slayers is a classic; once again a little older but it has that fantasy comedy genre down to a science and, so long as you can get over Lisa Ortiz's voice as the protagonist Lina Inverse, it's definitely worth a few good laughs.
If you like the horror/psychological thriller type anime and don't mind fan subs, I'd highly recommend Mirai Nikki. It's definitely on that keeps you at the edge of your seat and leaves you guessing constantly.
I'll think up more a little later but I figured I'd toss those suggestions your way so that you have even more to look up. =0 p
So do you cosplay at all or just enjoy watching anime?
