Thanks Ronisan. I like to keep my anime range pretty open. There's just too much to like just to only care for one genre of anime. We should def chat. I've been dieing for some debates in anime and there's not really a lot of anime fans around where i live.

Oh I see. I'm really curious to look up these artists now. Maybe I will be inspired too hehe Do you have any other artists you would recommend? Very interesting. Haha Gundam, really? Well, I guess it would be considered old school now, though I think classic styles have their own sense of beauty that makes them special and distinct.

Oh I'm jealous haha I wish I had photoshop on my computer, I would use it for all my sketches! My friend has an art program on her computer called "SAI" and it looked so amazing. I really want to save up for one of those digital art tablets someday.. I'd love to see some of your work sometime. ^_^ Do you have pieces that look similar to Murata's? I'm working on making my males look more realistic, but I keep messing up the proportions. I usually use a reference photo to help me.

I like creating my own characters too. :) I'm trying to get myself to draw more original male characters recently, since I tend to draw females a lot. >_>" Ah, I agree completely! If I'm not in the mood for drawing I just can't do it right no matter what, but when I am into it, I just draw and draw until my hand cramps up haha Yes, practice is very important. I still haven't quite found my own "style" yet, so I tend to make drawings similar to artists I admire. How long have you been drawing? Oh, and what's your favorite art tool? I like mechanical pencils and white rubber erasers best.
