The fact that the character is really smart but kind of awkward around people reminded me of myself. She also loves to read, like me. Well,, if you are in an anime watching mood then I think Clannad will be a good fit. My favourite character in the series is definitely Kotomi Ichinose (shown in the picture below). What a coincidence, yellow is my second favourite colour after green. Yotsugi has green eyes so that's probably why I chose her. If you want something to watch then I'd definitely recommend Clannad.
