Lol, I saw your post, you posted it on your profile XD de I don't that too couple of times. Yea that's basically me there, since I couldn't go out I went to anime and manga. And I still make the mistake that every nice girl likes me

I know huh, I enjoy and love this anime a lot of people who are loners can relate to Hikkigaya, I could since I was like that in Highschool. I always got the wrong impression of when a nice girl was talking to me constantly I always thought that they like me, took me 3 times to realize that mistake and was teased alot for it. Therefore I became distant and such events like school dances did not matter to me, and soon I stopped trying at all like there was no point in it at all. But I always had some comrades who stuck by me through middle school and high school and they were my true friends I just did not see it till after all those years. Also my upbringing played a part in my social life which led me to become a loner most of my life, since my parents never let me hang out with friends as a kid and was sheltered inside my house most of my life and never let me attend events. So whenever I was invited to hang out with people during middle school and high school and sometimes turned down those Invites because I already knew what my parents whould have said
