You are more than welcome to join in, i'm not overly worried about those that don't know as much about the lore, it's just basic fantasy really (Elves, Dwarves.. etc..) ^_^

Yup, the paranormal usually manages to be spooky and weird at the same time. Some of my latest reading material has been about the Black Eyed Children phenomenon. There seems to have been quite a few encounters with them - and it always starts off with them knocking on their victims door in the middle of the night. While some are bound to be hoaxes, it's some spooky stuff to read about. They do seem to have some real similarities to the Men In Black encounters.
Also on the subject of spooky - You might really enjoy the Seattle Underground Tour when you get there: http://www.undergroundtour.com/
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving!

It’s good that you enjoyed it! I didn’t go this year, but I have friends that did. I think one told me that it wasn’t great this year.
I’ve witnessed a few (at least possibly) paranormal things. I lived in a house with quite a history and quite a few things occurred there. We had a foreign exchange student staying there and one day he got out of the shower. On the fogged up mirror, there was cursive writing, as if freshly written by a finger. We think it said “What have you done?” This student from Taiwan could not have possibly done that.
As far as other things - my sister watched the pull down strings for a bedroom light/fan dance and move around on their own. As if they were being played with. Other than those things, many slamming noises when nobody else was home. The typical stuff.
I have also conducted a ghost hunt for recently widowed lady. She had a lot of bizarre things happen in her home just after her husband died. Mostly in the kitchen - which makes sense because he was a chef! Got no evidence from the hunt, but it was a lot of fun staying the whole night there with total silence.
I’ve seen wierd objects in the sky a couple times in my life, if that counts as possibly paranormal.

Hey, welcome to the site! I’ll bet you’re excited about moving to Seattle. I’m originally from that area and I miss it. I’ve been hitting up Sakura Con on and off since 07 - Many good memories there.
