Eww, that doesn't sound like prom food! Although punch is nearly always good. We had a chocolate fountain and I can't remember what else because I like chocolate too much. I completely agree about the school system. It's gotten pretty bad just so the school can graduate people. Sadly, that isn't the only thing wrong with the school system at the moment. Good Luck Girl is really funny! How long is it going to take you to get caught up with what you're watching now? And just how many shows are you watching at the moment?

It really wasn't all bad... the food was decent. xD I enjoy dressing up for anything where I won't look silly in a dress. It's so much fun, and when you look schnazzy you feel schnazzy! The first junior high dance I went to one of my friends had to leave really early- she had permission beforehand- and then one got sick and didn't show up. So I didn't have either of my closest friends with me, it was really awkward. I just kinda meshed myself into a group of people that I was somewhat friends with, but not very close to. That's exactly how my class was! I didn't understand how they made it through high school and it was ridiculous being around them. I'm only on episode four of it, but it is pretty hilarious so far. I love all of the references in it. If you do watch it then I hope you like it!

The music at my prom was pretty bad too. Mostly rap for the entire night. It didn't help that I disliked about a quarter of the people I graduated with and there were only 128 in my class. My first jr. high dance lasted for 2 hours and after fifteen minutes I was ready to leave, but they lock the doors and keep you from going outside until your parents come get you at the jr. high I attended so I was stuck. We had so many fights at those dances though. It might be the reason why prom was the only dance we had in high school. I really can't describe Good Luck Girl, it's just completely ridiculous. It's about a girl who has too much "happiness energy" and she begins using it kinda like a superpower for reasons that are way too long to get into. The series has so many references to other anime in it. That summary was awful, I know. xD

I know what you mean. Mine might have been more fun if I had danced, but I would not call what everyone else was doing dancing. It was so ridiculous. The guys were taking their tuxes off and the girls were changing into incredibly short dresses. It was basically a school-chaperoned club at that point. Really the only thing that redeemed it was the people that I was with. We had dances in junior high and I didn't like them then either. So I agree, it's best to hang out elsewhere. And thank you! I go into girl mode when dresses are involved. Good Luck Girl is definitely an odd anime.
