I actually changed the info on my profile because people said it sounded too desperate. I may fix that in the near future. After all, i should be more honest with myself and maybe i will find someone who can accept me for who i am rather than siding with people who think im a weirdo. Oh hello, btw. Name's meiji. Sup? XD

I'm not sure that it's really that people think they are better, it's more that they fall into the trap of the "status quo" and think they need to present themselves that way in order to fit into the group. They are actually desperate to be accepted but are taught that they aren't supposed to act desperate (to be accepted) so they adopt the common attitude of indifference in order to be accepted by the majority. In a way it's a self defeating cycle because they can't be themselves and end up lying to themselves along with everyone else about their true feelings.
