I generally watch anime when i hear something is decent or i know something good is done airing. I try to marathon vs watching currently airing anime because reasons. I don't really have a type/genre, if it's good, it's good. kinda sad you can't link this to MAL. It's difficult to find that special someone who enjoys watching anime or kicking back at home nowadays, especially in Hawaii. Which is why I decided to give this a shot i guess.
