Question marks? Are you sure? Try turning the 3DS off and on again and check again. If that keeps doing it, erase the current Mii and make a new one.

After you make a Mii, tap the orange square in the tope middle of the 3DS main menu and go to your Mii. You should see your Code under the Mii's name.
