I always enjoy riding trains. I have taken Amtrak from Northern Idaho to here in Seattle before, and the scenery was really awesome. It beats driving. And I've ridden the light rail here quite a few times. It's always a very smooth ride. You can go on a cruise for an affordable price these days. Partly because of a lot of bad incidents on them over the past few years. I want to do that sometime. Also, my city has ferries, where you can either drive your car onto it or just walk on. They go to the surrounding islands and nearby peninsula. I don't have any family in Hawaii, I meant a family vacation of sorts. :) My mom has been to Kauai and is familiar with it, but Oahu interests me a bit more. Vietnamese chicken noodle soup in unlike any other. :) It has rice noodles, chicken breast (beef is good too) mint sprigs, bean sprouts, basil, jalapenos, cilantro, and a broth. They call it PHO Soup, and there's lots of PHO restaurants where I live. On another note, those letters that it makes you type before submitting the post, the it's making me type an offensive term. Heh. I wonder what the chances were of that?
