Anime from this season I would recommend Pet and Id: Invaded for action/psychological/Investigation. Other than that... Like others have said, anime has become very generic for the most part. We see the same tropes and same hooks that it is like watching the same Play with different actors. Although if you enjoy reading manga I would suggest Sun-Ken Rock or Psyren.

Definitely like psychology myself. -There are the ; series. Steins ; Gate, Chaos ; Head. Some of them are okay while some of them just gets confusing. Steins;Gate was a masterpiece imo. -My favorite when it comes to psychology has to be When They Cry which is classified as psychological horror. This anime was really hard to continue because there are some really childish episodes and confusing moments but if you just get through those you are hooked. have absolutely no recommendations to give if it's only this or last season because these last seasons have sucked imo. I really love romance and the closest thing to romance recently is we never learn (which is not fulfilling at all) As for this season i'm only watching random stuff to chill after work like Seton Academy...... It's funny at least. Don't judge If you want recommendations outside of this time frame message me or look up my MAL if you want.
