I liked Castle in the Sky, Nausicaa, Spirited Away, and a few others by Studio Ghibli. Nausicaa had some good themes in it.

Yeah, I enjoy reading or watching stuff when it has a good plot, storyline, and characters. I can relate for AI BUSTER not being a manga, but it is a good novel with some images, Another Birth does the same thing and I liked it. Really series depend on the content and length can be more or less based on that. I feel a lot of series need more eps. for explaining stuff or less for whatever reason.

I don't have all the .hack books, but I do have a lot of them. I enjoyed AI BUSTER a lot, mainly because of Lycoris and Hokuto. I also have the .hack//IMOQ games, brother has GU. I like the songs for Paranoia Agent as well, and just interested in psychologically intriguing shows to begin with. I like thinking about stuff a lot when I watch that type.
