Update: Back in the UK, currently work at a Japanese store in Arndale called Kenji. Where are the Manchester Otaku?? I pretty much just live and love Japan and anime! (books and games too). Looking for similar people so that I can go to cons and events, or even just chat together!
If your interested in getting to know another and maybe meeting up sometime in RL (when we know each other), or you live around Manchester - say hi!
P.s Vocaloid otaku unite!! ;D Miku for best waifu

Old profile I just leave here:
I came to Japan following my love of anime as I wanted to see the origin of anime first hand! I do love Akiba it makes me smile being surrounded by anime! ;D its a little over commercialised though. I thought it would be like heaven for me!
I want to meet people who like anime and wanna do anime things and go to anime events!.I'm having trouble meeting people who like it, probably because of the language barrier. I thought I could live and breathe anime when I got here! Its a little harder than I thought though.. I need to learn Japanese, I have been learning but its a long process. I really want to be able to read light novels. I feel like i'm missing out on so many amazing stories. I would really like a friends group who can introduce me to anime things in Tokyo.
