So I took a look at the garrosh video. I took a look at a few other videos. I do have to critique that the video you linked would sum up dialogue in neat little sentences adding to his rhetoric which I really don't like cause it shows biased but that's why I looked at a few other videos. From what I'm seeing most justify Garrosh's bad behavior from his poor upbringing, thrall leaving, and the situation he was put it. My problem is that many characters in WoW have diffculties in their upbringings. Also, while I agree Thrall leaving might not have been the best decision he probably saw Garrosh as a son and felt he woudl rise to the challenge. However Garrosh became a tyrant instead of becoming a good leader. Instead of helping rebuild and reforge partnerships with other people to help the Horde he lashed out at others. Thing is, Garrosh was a grown up and he had to make grown up decisions but instead his position showed who he really was without someone to hold his hand. He was a scared child who lashed out in anger aganist the rest of the world and forced the Horde to do so along with him. He didn't run things like an orc man, he ran things like an orc child. Even during his fight with Thrall he was blaming Thrall for his mistakes instead of owning up to them. It shows how he thought himself a victim and never broke apart from that. He's just like a tyrant from history. In contrast Varian had challenges in childhood, lost his father at a young age, and stormwind was in bad shape after the cataclysm. yet Varian was able to let go of the past and learn from it. Went on to surpass his father and by forging partnerships he was able to rebuild stormwind. Garrosh hid his weakness behind his physical strength it's all he had. He was less of a warrior then he thought and he was a weak leader who caused his own demise. Garrosh's pride kept him from rekindling alliances. He thought it'd be weak but it's strong to work with others. Strangely I never thought about this. Right now it is Rascal does not dream of bunny senpai. I like the interesting take on quantum mechanics and have been into emotional or romantic animes myself. Probably because I lack those things recently.
