From insiders, whistleblowers, people who came forward with their stories. Of course, discernment and weeding out the falsities is a necessity. There's so many races, back in the 1950's the us gov had a handbook for crash retreival and how to render medical aid for the craft's occupants - those in the unit affectionately dubbed the handbook the "heinz 57" because at the time there were 57 various ET races in the book. of all of those, 5 races were malevolent towards humanity, the rest benevolent, with a few being neutral.

The short and simple is, we are aliens. We've been hybridized. They've been here before us, and we've come here from other places. Earth has accepted refugees from galactic wars, and this is the place where ET genetic farmer races were cultivating their respective culture of humans for their own agendas. There are both benevolent and malevolent ET's, just as there are benevolent and malevolent humans. The humans who believe themselves to be rulers over the rest of us want to profit off of the ignorant peoples. Technology exists that can produce free energy and end all environmental/energy crisis. Once we demand the release of these suppressed technologies and demand the true history of Earth and humanity, it's game over for the "rulers" who profit off our toil.
