No idea. I've never had anko before. I've heard from friends that have that it's altogether incomparable to anything else. I'm not expecting to get it right on the first try, but when I do I imagine it'll be pretty good. And probably a lot less unhealthy than conventional sweets

I appreciate it, but it's fine. I've done a bunch of reading up on it myself, but I figured it would be better to ask someone that might know. Oh! I ordered some azuki beans (used in Japanese red bean paste sweets), so I'm gonna be experimenting with making stuff out of those!
