To be perfectly honest though I only recognize most kancolle girls from the mountains of kancolle doujins that come out every single comiket. I was never super into it. :u

But yeah it's a browser game but it also has an android version, not sure about iOS though. But there's a bit of a process needed to play it outside of japan on both browser and android, not sure which one is the easiest out of the two

It's still japan only sadly, I could link you to some guides on how to get started if you want. I tried to get into it a year or so back but ended up playing fate/grand order instead back when that was japan only too. >_>

Oh, you want to know how to play Kantai Collection though? If I remember correctly it's strictly mobile for now, it has an arcade version too that's Japan only of course.
