I feel like both the games and the anime for this series were super underrated, I absolutely loved the setting and the culture heavily influenced by Ainu and ancient Japanese culture.
Rin @miarin Yes, yes it is. I love both of the tv series, never played the games though. I do feel like the series kind of slipped under the radar. I see, that's one of the reasons I loved the show as well, the whole atmosphere of it was nice.

I'd highly recommend them since the anime kinda skipped through a lot of important details regarding Hakuoro's past and...why the events in the last few episodes even happened in the first place. They're about to release a remake of the first game on PS4 and False Mask+it's sequel are already out in english on PS4 if you want to look into those.
Rin @miarin I see..gotcha, I might just look into them sometime, who knows. While watching the series I always wanted to know more about Hakuoro's past.
