My name is Martin, and I'm a 27 year-old former student from the University of Derby (BA honours in Multimedia Studies). I'm usually shy, especially in front of new people, though I'm definitely a lot more confident than I used to be. Always love people with a weird sense of humour, and it's always one of the first things I try and look for in somebody. I always like to have people guess my age - always catches people off (I have a bit of a young face). :P
I'm typically a geek at heart, and it's really no surprise. I'm a huge anime fan, especially when it comes to stuff from the 80's and 90's, although I do watch some of the more recent, popular stuff. I also play quite a few games, especially on the Xbox 360, although I do play on the PS3 and PC from time to time. I don't have a lot of hobbies outside, although I do hang out with friends often, so I guess that can count for something. I'm always trying different things and try and make better use of my time. I also hope to be a writer someday, whether it be writing novels, screenplays or even some form of journalism - I just want to tell stories or express my opinion, but inspiration escapes me more often than not. I've also started getting into Yoga recently as a means to getting into better shape. It's not like I'm fat or anything, but I don't see the harm in feeling better about myself.
I'm currently working at a local supermarket as a general assistant. It's not great, but it's better than nothing, especially at the moment.
I'm just here looking for someone with similar interests to mine and for someone who can accept what I look like and who I am as a person. I know someone exists, but I haven't encountered her...yet. Even if you just want to be a friend, I'm cool with that. :D
