I haven't read it fully to be honest haha, our school didn't celebrate it, just the library and all it was just the Tolkien books on display haha.

He was the King of the Elves when they Last Alliance between men and elves happened. Not sure if he was in the Silmarillion or not. I read it about him in a a spin off book (can't remember what it was called) in my old schools library when we were celebrating Tolkien day.
