What a coincidence!... okay not really a coincidence but I wanted to learn violin after reading the manga/watching the show, so I bought a $60 one from amazon but haven't touched it since... I still want to learn tho! I guess I only know (and probably forgotten) clarinet at this point. I guess a major reason I don't play is because it makes too much noise for indoors, even with a mute, and I live in an apartment complex with really thin walls. I was researching electric violins for this very reason (wish I could've saved up for that one instead!), but at this point I wanna concentrate on drawing/animation. Anyways, you should read 87 Clockers regardless! Even if you're not into computers, it's a pretty fun manga

Mine too! I kinda wish that one could go on forever... Besides the anime, do you read any other Tomoko Ninomiya works? Her most recent (and coincidentally almost ending) is "87 Clockers". I quite like that one. You should give it a go!
