I miss him too cause that is a good friend of mines dog and they moved about 4 months ago to Missouri. You have any animals? I used to have a ferret as well named jill but she died of cancer. She was by far my favorite that I owned throughout life.

Quite the character? Perhaps. Sometimes people are so unaccustomed to the actual direct interaction that I give them that it is easier to view it as being aggressive, or too assertive, or obviously a lie. No one is that transparent or blunt after all unless they aim to cause harm. I try not to say "genuine" too much when describing myself because it feels like I am trying to sell myself as if I am the only "genuine" anything. I just don't need to hide behind games or roundabout methods to get my intentions across. I don't think you would cause me any discomfort with your honesty if you would like to convey anything to me at any point. I'm made of a substance thicker than paper.

I appreciate the compliment! Being raised in the boonies of California I was raised to treat people how I want to be treated...and I value honesty and transparency. One could participate in the great game of subterfuge and misdirection like everyone else does...but when you observe how lonely it often makes them. You decide to play a different game entirely. One where the pure unfiltered reality of who you are is right there in plain sight and people can decide on that virtue alone if you are worth having in their life. No harm. No foul. Just honest reality.
