Champ in the making!
My name is Magnus, new to Mai Otaku, massive anime fan and have been watching it for over twenty years and have watched a huge catalogue of it.
Why am I here?
I am here to talk to people who share a similar interests in entertainment whilst having a positive encouraging impact on each other: intention to make some meaningful friendships. I won’t rule out the possibility of dating and relationships but I like to take my time really enjoy getting to know people first.
I do not mind long distance friendships and relationships, I have had friends who live in central Europe, Russia and America who I have known for years and had a long distance relationship which lasted a while.
I love to social using Discord as I find it very fun to live stream, watch shows as a group and play community games (not just video games).
A Little About Myself:
So, just your average 6ft tall fellow who’s trying to make sense of the increasingly bat s**t crazy times we live in: Russia invading Ukraine increasing the chance of Nuclear War, Boris Johnson has managed to hold his office for so long, the UK being on the Brink of a Recession and a two year long global pandemic.
What absurd times we live in, right?
At least Alex Jones has been held accountable for Sandy Hook, LOL!
Oh, where was I?
Ah yes, me.
Well, I guess I am quite an optimistic character who likes to enjoy the simple and whimsical side of things, I value learning and the willingness to consider other people’s situations and feelings. My humour can be silly, a bit camp or even risqué for the most part – but why so serious? Contrary to this, I can be quite sardonic and to the point when it matters and tend to be the person who comes up with a plan of action when people need it most.
Anyhooo, If I say any more I will ruin the experience of “me” for you. Message me and make your own mind up.
Since I am a fan of Lists, here's another one regarding hobbies and interests:
- Music (live music, gigs and festivals)
- Learning Czech and other foreign languages.
- Retro gaming (I love the classics – if you know what PSO is: message me)
- Cycling and generally keeping fit.
- Building bicycles and computers (not together).
- Learning and autodidactism.
- Occultism and Freemasonry (I have a lot of friends who are initiates – although I am not one: I know a lot about it: some of it that I shouldn’t know).
