Hmm. Interesting. Really had a different view of Nier Automata. Still might not be a game for my taste excatly but I'll keep it in mind and maybe buy it on sale or something if it stays in the back of my mind. Yeah horror is something that I avoid too. No need to scare myself or feel disgusted. Personally like the more up beat stories etc that have serious, thought provoking, scary elements and so on in them with varying amounts. Like the Final Fantasy games but I only have played X, X-2 and XII. Have not bought any new home consoles since ps2 so I'm now a pc and psvita gamer. Have missed out some good jrpg's due to that but at the same time have played a few nice ones too. X was very impressive to me back in the ps2 days and made a huge impact as an experience. Even started using Auron as my online name in a few games ^_^. When XII came out though it became my favorite due to certain themes and characters. Even bought the pc version this year for safe keeping as my old ps2 is definetly busted at this point. Still might buy the X + X-2 bundle but no rush with that. And I was really waiting for that one when I was young. So ended up with that then. The game was really good so I feel I did the right choice but unfortunally missed IX as a result. Have played fighting/brawl games now and then but they always lose my interest after a short while. Currently waiting for Valkyria Chronicle 4 and Tales of Vesperia for pc this year to see if I pick those up. Vary with the Valkyria one as I lost interest with Valkyria 2 on psvita when I played that but will get the Tales game if the port is good.

Heard of it yes. Heard music from it which is really good. But not have played it. Generally when it is about rpg games I tend to focus on those that tend to have a group of members/teammates with you in the journey. This is why I have not played Nier or the Witcher series for example. I have viewed that their gameplay has a lot of content were you are going alone in the story / world. With shorter action games this has not been a deterrent for playing games like Assassins Creed or Prince of Persia though I really liked the 2008 version when you had a partner in the story going with you ^^). Is it limiting me from playing games? Yes it is. But it is a taste. I gravitate to games that provide that interaction between characters. Now Witcher has this a lot that I know and it does it maybe the best way out there + that the game is way good based on everyone who has played especially the 3rd one. But the open world exploration done alone is a bit too lonely to me still to dive in to the game.
